Enter your keywords and the ultra-powerful search engine will search through almost three million documents, and after a few short seconds, will present you with the most relevant results.
Would you like to limit your search to an article of law, an author or even a particular date? You can carry out all these specific searches and many others too.
For the real legal research aficionados amongst you, Strada lex also allows:
- use of Boolean operators (OR, AND NOT etc.)
- searches for exact expressions
- research truncation
- combinations of groups of words
- the use of proximity operators
Singular/plural and male/female forms, synonyms -as well as conjugated-and inflected-forms - are all automatically searched for you !
2. INTEGRATED "CROSS-LANGUAGE"
Do you need to obtain comprehensive results, particularly in languages other than your own, without having to immerse yourself in dictionaries?
Strada lex is the only tool that enables this. With a simple click, you can ask the search engine to expand a query in French to include Dutch and/or English.
A real technological feat, Strada lex is equipped with a built-in translator that does all the hard work for you. This means that you can be sure that you are browsing and searching in all source documents, regardless of the language they were written in!

With a mere click, lists of results can be sorted on the basis of a document‘s language, its source (legislation, legal doctrine, case law), the nature of the text (journals, Codes, etc.), by a specific period of time, etc.
To save you even more time, the results will be automatically sorted by relevance. So the documents of most interest to you will be listed first. Perhaps you only want to consult the most recent results? A single click allows you to sort all of the results in chronological order.

Documents that you have already looked at are shown in a different colour, etc.
You can also create your own personal library (MyStrada), where you can store all your searches and documents.
